GAMEDAY: Pre-Season Game 1 vs Acadie-Bathurst

SAINT JOHN - The 2015 QMJHL pre-season gets underway tonight and your Saint John Sea Dogs are on the ice.

A roster that is comprised mostly of Sea Dogs prospects vying for a spot on the teams 2015-16 roster will go up against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan hopefuls in the first of two pre-season meetings between the two organizations.

According to the Sea Dogs official twitter account, here is tonight's lineup:

Roster Notes

• A few returning players will suit up for the Sea Dogs tonight including 2014 first round pick Julien Tessier and Bedford, NS native Matt Green. Alex Bishop will also be in the lineup, joining 2015 10th overall selection Alex D'Orio as tonight's goaltending duo.
• Joe Veleno will make his Sea Dogs pre-season debut tonight while two Saint John natives Ben Reid and Will Kelly will also suit up.
• Alex Kealey and Ryan Kenny, who both made appearances for Saint John in 2014-15, will be in the lineup.
• One of the final cuts from the teams 2014 training camp, Kyle Ward, will be on the ice tonight looking to crack the 2015 roster.

The next pre-season game on the Sea Dogs schedule is Saturday, August 15th as they head to Pownal, PEI to take on the Charlottetown Islanders. Puck drop is set for 4pm.
